Bedrooms:

• Make all beds

• Pick up clothes or any other clutter

• Fluff decorator pillows before you have your morning coffee if you can

• Open your blinds and window treatments

• Hang up any clothing and if you lag in this area, install hooks in your closets and hang them there...it is actually the easiest thing to do

• Put a clothes hamper in every closet for easy clean-up

• Better yet...install closet organizers...we found a wonderful source for closet, office, and pantry organizers that you can design yourself

• Swiffer® dust all surfaces

• Clean smudges from glass, mirrors, windows

• Dust bust the floors of lint, etc

• Spray a room "air neutralizer" - not masking odors, just removing any.

• Be sure the dishes are washed and out of sight
• Shine counters and appliances
• Wipe sink and faucet dry and put away any wash clothes and towels that have been used
• Stand back and make sure the decorative accessories and appliances are in place
• Nice touch to have live plants and or flowers
• Area rugs are clean and straightened
• Dust bust any crumbs on the floor
• Throw a cinnamon stick in a bowl of water and microwave for 2 minutes

• Clear all countertops of clutter and all unnecessary debris
• Thoroughly dust throughout your house, and wipe down walls, fixtures & doors
• Touch-up any paint that has cracked or peeled
• Wipe down baseboards and touch up paint as needed
• Dust and clean all lighting fixtures
• Try to remove as much clutter as possible, to give your home a nice, spacious feel
• Wipe down doors
• Clean windows and window sills
• Clean and polish floors and remove spots from carpet
• Clean out and organize closets
• Clean and polish all bathroom appliances, and remove any mildew from the shower/tub
• Be aware of potential odor issues in your home. There are many odor elimination products on the market that can assist with freshening the air in your home prior to buyers coming through
